Amanda & Thomas Gutierrez -missionaries in Managua Nicaragua.  In partnership with Halle and Kathy August, one of the Gutierrez's main focuses is developing a Christian sports center. The building of the sports center has been a joint effort with the Augusts and many short-term teams from the States as well as folks from Thomas’ home church. Over the next couple of years they hope to see the sports center continue to grow with additions of a second basketball court, a climbing wall, and a pool. Read more about sports center at their website, Salero.org (the Salt Shaker).

Manna Project International - MPI Nicaragua - MPI's first international site in Managua, Nicaragua began operating in August of 2004. The first "Team Nica" consisted of eleven recent college graduates who cultivated community relationships, implemented a variety of program initiatives, and developed local leadership. Since then, three additional teams have continued to develop the programs, build relationships, and foster leadership among local community members.
